9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m Monday to Friday
9.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m Saturday

Consultations by appointment but emergencies will be seen at any time.

Repeat prescriptions require 24 hours notice, doctors review all repeat prescriptions.

Free Services (during office hours) for:
** Childhood immunizations
** Diabetes annual checks
** ALL children enrolled with this practice currently attending primary or secondary school
** Sexual health for under 25’s.
Whangamatā Medical Centre is a rural general practice providing high quality medical care, including accident and emergency services, to the Whangamatā Community. Set up in 1980, we are well established in the area with a good understanding of local needs and those of the many visitors to our town. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses and support staff are focused on providing the highest standard of professional healthcare.

We offer our patients 24 hour emergency cover, 365 days per year.
To help you stay in good health we offer additional services such as immunisation and cervical smears as well as education and information clinics for specific health problems such as asthma and diabetes.

Whangamatā Medical Centre is an accredited teaching practice for doctors training in general practice and for students. The presence of a student will be well advertised and should you not want to be involved in a teaching situation, please tell the receptionist or your doctor.
